The picture I posted was of the Sydney Funnell Web which is different to the Funnell Web Spider. Although obviously from the same family, the Sydney Funnell Web is far deadlier.

It's one of the rare types of spider that the male is actually deadlier, it's venom being something like 5-10x more potent.

@Rev: I think the same thing so I either spray them and let them die or use a shoe or something lol
If I found a Funnell Web I would probably catch it and call the hospital or the reptile park which is about 50 mins away as they deal with all kids of animals including spiders. And since it is a native and somewhat endangered species (in that it is only found in a small area within Australia) it shouldn't be killed

I fucking hate spiders, bugs, and all that shit. And I can't stress enough how much I hate that shit. I feel lucky that we don't have any fucked up versions of those crawling bitches in here. Btw, there's this thing that when you plug it in, it transmits some magnetic waves or whatever through the electrical wires in the walls and they make all fucking insects (flying or not) to just stay the fuck out. If I lived in Australia, I'd buy 20 of those, and set up like lasers and shit, some heavy alarms perimeters, otherwise I ain't fucking sleeping. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'd sleep in an astronaut gear.

Spiders are I think the only thing I know for a fact that I'm scared of.

This. I'm not scared of snakes or sharks or anything like that (though if I saw a shark in the water with me I would probably freak out) but if I see a spider I'll get paranoid. It's their size along with how lethal some of them are. I feel them on my body a lot even when they're not lol.
