What planet are you living on?

Here on Earth, the first thing people think of when someone mentions Justin Timberlake is N'Sync.

N'Sync used to be huge, girls would drool all over Justin back in the day just like they do now.

Seriously?

Like are you being serious? People don't associate Justin to Nsync anymore. I know how huge N'Sync was, however, he was really huge by himself too.

He's no longer the N'Sync singer.

Well yeah, legend is a bit of an exaggeration. But he could become one if his next album is great. He's really talented and his voice is really really great.

What country do you live in? I find it hard to believe these stunning facts considering you don't even live in the States, a country which N'Sync was very popular in.

Don't you live in like, Belgium, or something? They must be the music capital of the world, considering you're able to conclude that NO ONE associates Justin to N'Sync.

Does 1999-Eminem exist where you live? What about 2001-Jay-Z? 1994-Nas?

My older sister was a huge fan of NKOTB and I was dragged to their concert when I was like 4, My time was also Nsync, BSB etc and the girls loved them.

Ive been to a BSB concert as well a few years ago.

Question? Would EM be a sellout if he collabed with JT? Since people bitch about him working with pop starts or r & b stars or whatever.

I don't think it would be a sellout move, no. Justin is Justin though, he has success to stand on and I think that's why. It'd be weird as hell though!

I mean, he did a song with Adam Levine and that was cool. People liked that, didn't they? Personally, I loved it.

I think people saw 50's collab with Justin as a bit of a sellout move.

Dude you weren't even born in 1994.. And why do you suddenly act like you're smart? You'd be surprised at how many people like Hip Hop/Rap here, and how many of them know more about it and about that culture than you do.

N'Sync was big here too, actually, it was huge. However Justin Timberlake was bigger as a solo act in Europe, which is AT LEAST half of his audience.

He's a popular figure everywhere in the world as an actor or as a singer, you don't need to be American to know who is big and who isn't. (Again, we know much more about the US than you know about the rest of the world.) Then again, you're the guy who thought every japanese wear Kimonos everyday so I wouldn't expect you to understand it. You're not really informed about the rest of the world.

We have the same hits as you on our charts. They feed us with your culture, whether it's music, food, movies.. Everything. But yeah, Eminem was big here. 50 Cent too. Actually, everybody had died hair or XXL clothes here. To this day, they're still relevant because of what they have done in the 2000's.

Anyway, back on topic, Justin Timberlake is more known for his solo work than for his Nsync work here. Maybe not in the US, even though I really think he is, but half of his audience was able to separate him from that boysband stuff. Of course he sold more with them, but he changed his image and dropped some classic and unforgettable songs as a solo act which helped him to get rid of that "boys band" image.

"Selling out" is throwing your morals/integrity away for the sole purpose of selling records. Unless Justin Bieber forced Eminem to make a hit record that had Eminem writing about shit he didn't even want to in the first place, no, he wouldn't be selling out.

If it was a track where Eminem did his own thing, and Bieber did his own thing, it'd be fine. But, I wouldn't even wanna see that happen.

It was in Canada and in the US, I agree with that. However, not in the rest of the world. Quick example: It was barely gold in Germany, while FutureSex/LoveSounds was 2x platinum there. Or it was platinum in Australia, while FutureSex/LoveSounds was 5x platinum.

Guys.. as a girl from the big NSYNC days I'm telling you.. he's not often labeled as "the lead singer of NSYNC" these days lol

The other members (Like Joey who is hosting a lot now, or Lance) are still tied back to NSYNC days.

Of course, dude. Eminem has never done a song that he didn't want to in the first place just to make money.

There is the argument that his singles like "Love the Way You Lie" were made just to bring in higher album sales, but look at the song's content: domestic abuse. That doesn't sound very "sell-out" worthy. Plus, it's exactly the type of stuff Eminem has been writing about, except back in the day it was in a much more sarcastic, lighter tone (excluding "Kim").

The Real Slim Shady and Without Me are both songs that he was forced to do, if I remember correctly.

I would side with Justin because he didn't ask for nothing and got bashed by Kanye, who's been making average Trap music recently, trying to fit in (which doesn't look like him at all.)
