So he dropped a new poster? Cool. Dr. Dre dropped two singles and performed at the grammy.
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.

I think it's funny how people compare this album to Detox, because Hopsin himself did that exact thing in his early interviews about the album. He said he wanted it to match that album in quality. So now, it's almost like Dre's impossibly high standards have not only delayed his own album, but Hopsin's as well.

Of course, that's only true in a kind of humorous way. The comparisons are fair, but I think Hopsin is just trying to avoid putting out something that doesn't exceed Raw. Hopefully he's figured it out, otherwise he will have squandered the opportunity to capitalize off of the buzz he had following the XXL cover and even "Ill Mind of Hopsin 5".

I think the reason why he has waited a while, is because of all of the other projects in Funk Volume he has worked on. He doesn't have that much time in the studio as he used to, and also I remember he said in an interview that he was waiting until he felt like writing stuff and was eager to go in the studio and write, he had to have the feeling because he said that is where he writes his best.
