Jay-Z & Kendrick Lamar Headlining The Yahoo World Tour

Yahoo made a big announcement this week at South by Southwest's Interactive portion in Austin, TX, that it would be getting deeper into the trendy live music business by rolling out a massive international festival.

Yahoo announced their first international music festival with Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar as headliners. Other artists to perform: J.Cole, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as well as Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and Trey Songz for the string of London shows July 9-14. All aboard.

I don't think it's a major factor for a lot of other artists, but when you get into hip hop (and some rock, I suppose) some of those guys can't even get into Canada due to their criminal records. Hopsin and Yelawolf both had issues with that over misdemeanors, and I'm sure others have had problems getting in too. Eventually, you can make it happen, but it takes a little bit of work.

I think it's discrimination though, mostly...because Modest Mouse was let in, and I'm pretty sure Isaac Brock still had a pending rape charge and a warrant out for attempted murder in Oregon.

its probably because I mention him a lot but he is still very hyped and he is oversaturating the web, If I don't mention him, someone else would do it as it's all over the internet.

Whatever Jay-Z drops, It's like a cultural event in itself. He can work with Eminem, Kanye West, Bow Wow or Tony Yayo, the song will be highly anticipated tbh.
