Stans would be like OMGZ THIS IS THE BESTEST THING EVER

real hip hop heads would laugh and be like fuck eminem, and continue listening to real music

Stan's will buy an Eminem project of him farting for an hour, if Eminem got drunk and ran over a pregnant woman Stan's would blame the pregnant woman

I think real artists would respect it. But that's probably it, fans will respond the way Atone just did because they don't know dick about anything and are delusional and make up factitious stories to receive attention.

Wait, what did I just say?

I like Infinite. :coffee: I'd buy two copies if it was released for the first time today.
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

I would listen to it, If I thought it wasn't good (although it's a solid album, though more time influenced than his other albums) I would respect his work and artistry more, to see how he transitioned from a regular rapper to what he is.

the same if michael jackson's pre-1980 albums were released today for the first time

Are we considering this as if Infinite was just some random drop Eminem put out? Like a mixtape or some shit? Does Eminem have the fan-base he has now in your hypothetical situation?

If he has the fan-base he has now:

1) It would sell a lot.
2) People would bitch about how lackluster the production is.
3) People would bitch that Eminem has gone soft.
4) People would bitch that Eminem was biting others styles.
5) People would bitch that it sounds extremely dated.
