Eminem disappeared during that time. Wayne hasn't slowed down a bit since he blew up. Well, maybe a bit, but not much.

What's your major problem with the term "lyrical", Amadeo?

That it's unnecessary?...or pretentious?...or cliche?

By the way, there are plenty of rap songs I can play at a party that don't involve shitty rappers like Lil Wayne.

50 Cent
Three 6 Mafia
Yelawolf
Snoop Dogg
UGK
OutKast
Jay-Z
Kanye West

You get the point....

Just admit that you like Lil Wayne.

Actually tbh, Yela's got a good number of songs that could be used at parties specifically. Went to one a while ago where they played his stuff on the reg.

I like to listen to Lil Wayne. I would never play Yela or Tech at a party.

I don't why rap fans have to be so picky lol.

My party playlist goes from Caribou Lou (Tech) to Daddy's Lambo (Yelawolf) to Go DJ (Wayne) to All Gold Everything (Trinidad James).

At worst, up until C3 was an above average rapper. He just made enjoyable music. If you don't like it cool, but acting like it's trash is dumb.

Songs like Hustler Musik and Hit Em Up are classic.

I do hate Wayne's music mostly now though, too corny, terrible beats, and his voice is weird now.

If ur talking about Pacs hit em up... That's classic.

So you're talking sh*t yet you haven't listened to his good music? That's smart. Ya, his old freestyles were good and his actual music was way better, don't be stupid.

That's like "I heard a cpl freestyles from Em the other day and those were dope...I don't really listen to Em never did...I did purchase My New Single and Numb...Em = Trash"

For me, a classic album has to
- be good
- have an impact on the game / influence (new) artists / set new standards
- (pass the time test) < into brackets because an album that has an impact on the game usually mark the history.

Everything is shit I have heard from Wayne so why am I gonna go and listen to more shit? People say Carter 1 and 2 is good but he messed up with the 100000 crappy songs he released.

Ur comparison is retarded... EM never released shitty music like ur favorite artist. Well as much as Lil Wayne.

That's just stupid. If Eminem spent the next 8 albums rapping Soulja Boy lines over Nicki Minaj beats, it doesnt make his first albums less enjoyable. Wayne's career is tranished from his recent bad music, his good music isn't.

I think Bigray meant his career, not the good songs. It's impossible to make good songs bad by releasing a bunch of bad songs, but it's very possible to hurt a career and legacy.
