It would be kind of like Relapse without the accents or serial killer content.
Casual fans would be like "Oh, that's cool". More serious fans would be split down the middle between "this is dope" and "this is kind of meh". Then, about a year later, the latter half of said fanbase would be like "OMG this is so fucking dope, how come ppl don't love this shit??".
I would think that some people would notice it for what it is, a decent effort by a rapper that didn't really know who he was yet.
