Hey this is my all time favorite PAC diss record...this one he really goes in on everyone...the first time I heard this I was literally in shock....if no has heard this listen to it, it is a great diss record and everything he says is pretty much true.

This is exactly what I think is missing in Hip hop right now, rappers don't diss each other anymore
Eminem became too humble, Kendrick Lamar is too humble, Jay-Z works with every "hot" artist, Lil Wayne doesn't give a fuck if someone diss him because hip hop heads fuck with him.
They all call themselves the best rappers but they all love each other lol

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to see 50 cent working with Rick Ross.

Actually, I think that no one will diss Eminem and Kendrick, it's like you never diss someone from Aftermath if Dr Dre is behind you (look at Shyne, kendrick didn't even have to answer because other artists defended him)

Pretty sure that it's the same for the other artists, they just want to sell their albums and they work with every hot artists :

It's the same every year, look at the MTV hottest mc list, you want artists to diss each other because of their ranking but no... they just diss MTV everybody works with everybody to stay relevant (jay-Z worked with Rick Ross because of the list, he worked with Kendrick because of the list, he worked with Eminem back in the days, Kanye because he was acclaimed as fuck and with drake because he was highly played on the radio)

I wish 50 cent was still at the top of the game, 90 % of his diss videos/songs made me laugh

What do you think of 50 right now? He has been pretty bad the past few years, his past mix tapes and albums have zero replay value for me.

I think he needs to be creative & original again, grodt was fucking well received because it was new, it was something we had never heard before but I have the feeling that he has been rapping about the same thing for years.

He didn't have to be the best lyricist or the best technical rapper, ppl could relate to his songs and he was original as fuck but if you can't release something different, then just tell your fans to buy your old album or at least, try to top your old album.
You always know what he wants to release, for example, he said in My Life that SKI would be his " recovery" and the songs he released really sound recovery-ish to me

That's why I love Eminem, he is unpredictable and I'm pretty sure it's the reason why he can sell millions of copies every time he releases an album !
It's like Drake, his fans always have something new from him, I can see him doing better sales number with his 3rd album tbh

I think it's a classic (and it's often mentioned as a classic album)
The album is great, and it doesn't need to be a 10/10 album to be a classic imo.
We still talk about this album and 50 influenced a lot of rappers back in the days, Even Eminem had a gangsta period and I blame 50 cent for that tbh

great album + impact/influence + he captured a moment in history so yeah, I personally think that this album has the classic status
I might be wrong but the impact / influence on the culture is really important so when you influence rappers, your album is often labelled as a classic album.
That's exactly why GKMC was often labelled as an instant classic, a lot of artists already said that they wanted to release the next GKMC ( and some of them want to release the "bad kid in a maad city" )

I knew grodt would be a classic a few months after its release, it didn't take 50 a long time to capture a moment in time but it will never be as much of a game changer as The Chronic or Illmatic

That song with EM would fit on Recovery (a few lyrics have to be changed but it can be done) Dont get me wrong though he did however release some good songs in the past few years but a lot of them sounded identical.

Same here, you never know what to expect from Eminem and to me I always liked all his albums even the mediocre Encore I still enjoy many songs on it. Ya I think he will do bigger numbers, Drake's popularity is just getting bigger. He should leave Young Money though imo his fan base is big enough to keep buying his music.
