According to HDD:

With early retail reports coming in hot and heavy, we’re upping the previous 600k first-week estimate on Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience to north of 750k. Can it hit 800k?

Taylor Swift managed to sell a million by distributing it EVERYWHERE! She even did deals like when you order Pizza (from Papa Johns) for a few dollars extra you get a copy of her CD.

Paying for distribution in a bunch of random places just to get a big sells headline doesn't seem cost effective in the end unless the album continues to sell huge throughout the year. I don't know if Eminem could even do what these pop stars do because of his lyrical content and the fact that things with a Parental Advisor Sticker are not allowed to be sold in some stores.

I lost interest in JT a long time ago so I really don't care about his sales but apparently it's selling at places like Walmart for only $7.
