Listen to White America, Square Dance, Without Me, ect.. He can't do it like that anymore. I wonder if Eminem can use technology to alter his sound. Nobody wants to hear him scream over and over at 40. You can't deny that his old voice was more fun to listen to. People can forget about a classic if he doesn't innovate the way he sounds.

He can do it like that if he wants, people talk about aging.. no - Eminem purposely fucks with his voice and creates a new style every album, he's always done this and said he wants to sound different every album; you saying he 'can't' do his voice like that suggests he's trying to

I finally understand why I don't like you as a poster.

Come on. Even his speaking voice is significantly different now than it was a decade ago. Sure, he can change his voice up if he wants to. Everyone can. That doesn't mean he can still sound the way he did in 2001 when he's yelling.

Yeah but him yelling isn't him trying to sound like 2001 Em and failing lmao... it's not like he's yelling on accident... or his voice is shot, that's a style he's intentionally doing.
If you listen to "The Warning" or even more recently... the 'Art of Rap' freestyle or "Richard", his voice sounds pretty similar to 2001 Em, it's not shot and he can rap in those tones, if he wants.
EminemInsider wrote:No, what I'm saying is when he yells, he sounds completely different from the way he sounded in 2001 when he yelled because his voice has changed, and that is not intentional. He didn't just start yelling - he has always yelled, or at least dating back to MMLP. What he started doing is yelling in a hoarse voice. That's how his voice is shot. It's much easier for him to mimic lower intensities from the past than it is to rap with his old aggressiveness. He couldn't do a No Apologies-type delivery anymore to save his life.
