Quantity vs Quality

After a couple of years without a single Eminem solo song, whenever he releases an album again, would you prefer;

Say 18 songs, 12 outright great songs, 3 filler tracks, and 3 tracks with good Eminem verses but bad features.

Or an album of 12 songs with the quality being consistent throughout?


i'd definitely prefer the latter, providing it receives critical acclaim but the fanboy inside me wants all the Eminem songs i can get

Definitely the latter. Ain't nothing like 12 songs LP, definition for quality/consistency. Plus they can always make a deluxe version with bonus tracks.

I listen to albums, I don't listen to a collection of songs.
I want the album to be cohesive, I want a theme, a concept, etc.

He can release the 6 other bad songs later tbh

Relapse is a classic without a few tracks to me.

And Recovery is a classic with good production to me.

So he's missed the mark twice in two annoying ways in a row now...

I just don't want that to happen again. I hope every track is consistent, even if every track is not amazing, as long as they all sound like the same batch, that's the most important.

I'd take more songs as long as they're not almost all featuring someone. I'm not a big fan of features...

You should have made the features outshine Eminem in the first option. Otherwise, the first option, easily.
