You'll be like "mehhhhhhhhh" for a long time, and then something will just spark up and things will start falling into place.

haha this is a perfect description! I hated him at first, now he's my favorite rapper. Dude is more unique/creative than anybody out right now. Trunk Muzik/ 0-60 was what did it for me.

Yeah. I was like "Meh" too, when I heard Pop The Trunk. I was like he's kinda boring.. I was listening just for the fuck of it without being focused tbh.

Then later, I heard Daddy's Lambo. I was like shit.. This is dope. Then I heard Marijuana, Love Is Not Enough and Trunk Muzik.

I was hooked. Radioactive wasn't really a let down for me, because I still liked it even though it could have been better. Heart of Dixie was pretty dope, and had like 2/3 classic tracks.
Psycho White was great as fuck lol, and the Ep with Ed Sheeran is great too.

So this cannot be bad.

Checked out a song by Yelawolf, my reaction...
-wtf? is this guy black
-googles him, only see's scrawny white guy, ignores it

I listen to 2.0 boys song
-Ughh this black guys voice is kinda weird
-I see XXL cover... "wait, what?"

I watch Pop the Trunk on youtube
-"What is this?"
-"Did Em really sign this guy?" smh

I listened to Trunk Muzik 0-60 and Arena Rap and progressively started to accept him, and now I love his music.

I always liked Yela for the word go, I'm weird like that. But the song that really sealed the deal for me was this:

Tbh, I don't get all the "hate" on Radioactive from others, for what the album was, and what it was aimed for, it was pretty good.

I don't know when you started listening to Yelawolf, but I was into Yela before the Shady deal, loved Arena Rap, Trunk Muzik, and 0-60, I was expecting something much better than Radioactive...especially with him signing to Shady Records. I don't think it was bad, but it was disappointing in the sense that it did not live up to expectations.

Yeah, actually I felt the same way at first because we were aiming for something like Trunk Muzik, but I am saying like after knowing what Yela was aiming for, which was later on, and the more you listened to it. I didn't say it was AMAZING, but it was pretty good for what it was.

As a big ThreeSixMafia fan, I care about Gangsta Boo! Throw It Up is really impressive to me, it's the first time Eminem has done a good southern verse. It's not another travesty like Touchdown.

I remeber how I first got into to Yelawolf...
1. Heard Eminem signed him.
2. Heard him on 2.0 Boys, was kinda weirded out bh this voice and flow.
3. Listened to Daddy's Lambo and Marijuana, was like "WTF?!?"
4. Listened to Worldwide Choppers, was a little impressed.
5. My bestfriend was into Yelawolf and bought me a copy of Trunk Muzik 0-60, he recommended that I listened to it while cruising.
6. Finally listened to it in my car somewhere around September 2011, fell in love immediately.
7. Radioactive was probably my most anticipated debut in a LONG time, when it dropped it wasn't a dissapointment at all, I enjoyed the album a LOT.
8. Spent most of 2012 listening to everything he had, became a Yela-stan.

1) Eminem signed white guy. Listened to Daddy's Lambo. Unimpressed.
2) Heard Worldwide Choppers. Fucking awesome
3) Radioactive dropped. Boring as fuck, lost interest.
4) Listened to Trunk Muzik Returns. Jizzed.
