I watched it shortly after I started listening to Em's music (about a month after Recovery came out) and I really liked the movie. I felt Em's acting was phenomenal and the message of the movie is inspirational and at the same time, humbling.

I'll have to watch it again. I've only seen it 3 times.

I've seen it over 100 times easy. The first summer that it was out on DVD I watched it two times a night for two months straight. I was slightly obsessed.
CALLED IT!

I watched it a couple of weeks ago and I understand you bro. Especially after I joined this forum I kinda look at Eminem in a different way tbh. It probably has to do with all the shit I have learned about the dude after joining this forum. 8 Mile was even better after it.
TrShady is just great. A place where pompousus blowhards can connect with other pompousus blowhards, and form a vast circle jerk of pomposity.

She enjoyed it more than she thought she would, but was disappointed with the ending. I can see where she's and you are coming from with the shortness~ of it. Some parts should have been cut to give a better and possibly longer post-battle ending.

To be honest I felt the same way back in the day... but it was probably the only possible way to end. If it went on with like the beginning of his success from there on it would be probably harder to get to a better end of it as that would have been like a whole new beginning.

if it would have been ended with the beginning of his success than it would feel like a movie based on his real life which the movie is NOT based upon.

It's one of my favorite movies and I've seen it lots of times but it's probably more than a year since the last time I did so. Maybe when the new album drops I'll get back in that Eminem mood.
