XD I was just watching this video, and lo and behold...Em's in the background performing! Not sure if this is something the artists' management arranges or what, but it's pretty cool.

I've actually seen the interpreter in the background of some of the concert videos. It's interesting to get to know a little more about them.

That's interesting..

How long before people start trying to fake being deaf to get closer to stage though. I wouldn't be surprised.

I am HOH and I listen to music a lot, I could take my hearing aid off at a concert and still can hear it.

Deaf people tend to feel the beats.

There's a very easy way to prevent that though, just try to talk to them in ASL. There's no way to fake knowing sign language to someone who knows it.

That's something they did at most of the big Lollapalooza concerts, including the Eminem show in 2011. "Not Afraid" sticks out. The girl doing the sign language interpretation made it look pretty epic and poetic...if that makes any sense.

Anyway, this is something bands like The Grateful Dead were doing back in the day.
