Look at Pac's, Biggie's, Hova's, Nas', etc catalogue and you will find a lot more songs that are unlistenable to than are in Em's catalogue. Nobody here, including the Em haters, denies that 97-02 he was consistently brilliant. But that was 5 years. The first 5 years of a 16 year career (to date). The last 11 years he has been very inconsistent.

That's not really what we're talking about though. With an album like Recovery his career was very much revitalized but that is a very inconsistent album, in the sense that there is brilliance that is overshadowed by poor choices (beat, delivery, etc). Same is true with Relapse.
