What ya think about this thread ?

Most of them are basically saying that Eminem has the worst discography out of the 'G.O.A.T.S'.
They're saying that in years to come his legacy won't be much more than a great technical mc and that his albums didn't age well at all.

I wanted to know your opinion about that because I had no comeback for this.

You should read the other pages, not just the OP.

They rated Encore above Relapse & Recovery

I'm not wasting anymore time with these idiots, that was enough

Yeah after reading a few more pages, the people are outrageous stupid

I saw one person call 1 young jeezy album better then all of eminem's catalog

I can't even stand most of Eminem's music, but I still don't agree with those jackels

I also think that recovery is his worst album, there are some great individual songs but as an album, I think it's average at best but Relapse is better than Encore imo, and it's not even close. Giving this album a 5/10 is a shame :coffee:

but yeah, as I said before, I also think that Eminem's old albums haven't aged well, particularly the beats on TMMLP but I still call it a classic because of the influence the album had on hip hop 10 years ago

I think all the old pop culture mentions really hurt his albums. Most kids these days probably don't even know who Tom Green or NSYNC is.

It's like a topical south park episode, it's funny at first but It starts fading away when the years pile up.

I agree with them and I would say that Kanye West is the most consistent rapper, he released 5 masterpieces but he isn't impressive as a rapper.
I love Eminem and he is probably one of the most gifted rappers but I will never put him in my TOP 5/7 of all time, just because of his albums collection.

@Bigray, The blueprint and Reasonable doubt are timeless and classic albums, they are serving as a standard of excellence.

I never said Reasonable Doubt or Blue Print wasn't dope.

Jay-z was already one of the best rappers in the late 90's and everybody talked about him has a goat tbh

yeah there were better rappers but most of these rappers didn't make a better album than Reasonable Doubt. A lot of rappers had more buzz than Nas and most of these rappers didn't make a better album than Illmatic.

yeah and a great technical rapper who doesn't release good albums isn't interesting at all imo, that's why I think that jay-z was one of the greatest rappers back in the days but he isn't consistent at all

I would call an artist who releases great hip hop albums - songs, a great rapper and I would call an artist who sells a lot of albums a successful rapper lol but jay used to be a great and succesful rapper I guess.

Lance5 I don`t agree with you on that "beats haven`t aged well om TMMLP". I like those beats better than most of beats you hear today.
