I agree with the list tbh except for Missy Elliott and Puff Daddy.

Their list isn't very different from the other lists tbh

I have never seen Kanye ahead of Em on any all time list. Whether it's "Most influential rapper" or "Greatest Rapper"

A lot of magazines crowned The College drop out "the best album of the decade" (2000-2009)

- The time > in the top 100 of the best albums of all time, all genre.
- Entertainment Weekly > College Dropout is the fourth best album of the past 25 years, a few years later, E.W. called it the best album of the past decade, all genre.
- Newsweek > The college dropout is the 3rd best album of the previous decade, all genre.
- Rolling Stone > The college dropout is number 10 on its list of the 100 Best Albums of the Decade
- Rollingstone > The College Drop Out is the 19th best debut all of all time, all genre

well, I won't give you the 100 other lists =p

as an "Emcee" kanye west is never mentioned amongst the best rappers, but his albums are almost always mentioned in the lists tbh

Kanye has a better discography maybe, but I'm saying that on "Top .. rappers" list he's never above Eminem, Jay, Notorious, Pac or most of the time Outkast.

Btw MMLP:

Rolling Stone (USA) - Top 100 Albums of the 2000s (2009) 7

I have seen a lot of lists with him in the top 3 of the best artists but yeah I agree, he is never mentioned above Eminem on "top rappers" lists and it's normal tbh, Eminem is clearly better as a rapper

since we're talking about Ye.. Murder To Excellence is an amazing song but the fact that he's endorsing and worshipping Chief Kieef so hard ruins it for me.

Puffy is my favorite genius... esp. skills wise!
He gets the best ghostwriters... then gets the best producers & feats but could still shit on the song all the way. lol

this list is retarded
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"

You guys tend to really overreact. Eminem has made some genius songs, but he hasn't put in the effort to put his music to new levels. It's always been the standard 16 bars, hook, 16 bars, hook, formula.

He hasn't done anything innovative to the musical genre. I find his placement is perfect.
