Puffy is my favorite genius... esp. skills wise!
He gets the best ghostwriters... then gets the best producers & feats but could still shit on the song all the way. lol

this list is retarded
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"

You guys tend to really overreact. Eminem has made some genius songs, but he hasn't put in the effort to put his music to new levels. It's always been the standard 16 bars, hook, 16 bars, hook, formula.

He hasn't done anything innovative to the musical genre. I find his placement is perfect.

When I think of R. Kelly, I just picture yellow bed sheets and people trapped in a closet...lol.
Good on him though

He has moments of brilliance, but he is too smart for his own good and becomes corny pretty often.

Em is your standard Detroit rapper with an annoying voice. He is White. That gets him over the hump. He is still damned talented. No denying that.

That was a great song though. Jay & Kelly whole thang worked really well actually... before they got into the beef thing.

I loved it too... I have to agree Kelly is talented as fuck & some of the hooks he's done have been totally on point.

'Standard'?

I'd like you to name some other 'standard Detroit rappers' who've made songs like "Stan", "The Way I Am" and "Lose Yourself", or albums like The Marshall Mathers LP. Lol.
