* assuming he's an ordinary person without fame and money
* based on the first impression of his looks - not personality

IMO, he'd be good looking but not significantly above average. maybe a 7.

I think after the MMLP era, The Eminem Show onward, he got better looking. probably it's because he lost weight, and started lifting (though since he became sober, he's been really skinny). but for 40 years old, he looks like he's in his early 30's, which by that standard, he's definitely getting better looking over the years.
