Yeah, the delivery distracted me from that. That's just another example of how Eminem wasn't interested in trying to force the listener to notice his rhyme schemes - he was just into performing the meaning of his lyrics.

"always" rhymes with "don't make"

However, you may have a case for an inverse (al)ways make me/make me wake.

But I think it's a lot more likely he was just going for the single syllable rhyme when he used "wake" and al(ways".

Nah only the best of the best intellects can grasp multis. It's too hard a concept.

I remember a study with all the top academics of the decade all looking at the words "Birthday", "Earthquake", "Suitcase", "First Place", "Thursday ","Tooth Paste", "2Chainz", "Mermaid", "Worm Snake", "Loose Change", "Souffle" and "Word Play".

Only about 1 in 30 could tell you the correct rhymes. People were getting mixed up with alliteration and the different rhyme sounds "tooth" and "word".
