I definitely know what you mean but it's totally irrelevant when you bring it like that... that piece of involvement you got more than foreign fans doesn't mean they are not connected to the teams they love. I gave you an example... I never liked City but a good friend of mine who I played professionally with played for them. If I was a City fan that would be a great connection for me as a fan even if I was far away. I can show you photos of me & Martin Petrov as football players but that's not the point. The point is everybody from wherever can love & be dedicated to whatever team & that's what makes them real fans, not the place they live.

I agree... Real would only hold on to a clean sheet if they won by just one goal. If they started scoring & opened up which they have to do anyway... then Borussia would score too.

Isn't every goal "avoidable"? Lol, I know what you mean but at least Dortmund's goals were legal and lucky as fuck like Bayern's.

I agree... all goals come when one team outplays another in a given situation. The easily most avoidable goal yesterday was the one Ronaldo scored too & that literally saved Real to even have a chance for the rematch.

Missed 7 pages of posts, not gonna skim through them, all I have to add is that it feels awesome to see Spanish sides get fucked in the Semis again, and it will be an awesome all-German final (Real still have a chance though, Barca are definitely out).

As for the Europa League, we'll show Manchester United & Tottenham how to really play against Basel. I really hope we win this competition, I'd love us to get another chance at the UEFA Super Cup, but Top 4 is still top priority!!

At this point, I want us to win the competition. I would have preferred if we were knocked out long ago though, as fixture congestion is costing us a top 4 place. Then again.. the EL final will be played before the Everton match which could be of high importance..

The positives of winning the Europa League:
-We'd join a group of elites that have won every European Cup that has ever existed (since we've already won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Champions League), alongside Bayern Munich, Juventus and Ajax Asterdam
-Which means we win a cup we've never won before
-We won't end the season trophyless
-We get another shot at the UEFA Super Cup
-We become the first team to win the Europa League (or UEFA Cup) and the UEFA Champions League in 2 consecutive seasons, IN REVERSE ORDER.
I really want this cup, we get this and a top 4 finish, and it's a good finish to such a woeful season

Chelsea did good indeed but that Cup kind of stands in their way for the CL spot so they better handle all that in the right way.

They still happen to be two really serious game (one of them not that serious anymore) along with a few more even more serious one of which away to United.

I hope Wigan can take a point or two from Tottenham later today, I really want that top 4 spot!

Wigan are gonna fight for their lives & Tottenaham are usually really bad at the last part of the campaigns so it's very possible for a draw at least. I personally think Tottenham are gonna win this one though.

Chelsea better be up for a fight too 'cuz the Swans have been consistent all season & esp. 'cuz I'm sure Chelsea are gonna drop points against United next game.
