King Mathers songs?

Postby python » Apr 28th, '13, 03:11

We all know of Eminem's drugged up era of music, when he was a 200-pound pill-popping idiot. But I was wondering, what is the complete list of Eminem's drugged up era music (that has been released)?

The ones that are known
Ballin' Uncontrollably
G.O.A.T
It's Been Real
Beautiful

The ones that are unknown
Wee Wee (claimed to be a warmup track, but was never confirmed. no slurred voice. Zach and Miri was released in 2008)
Syllables (his voice sounds pretty normal, but people say it was recorded in 2007)
My Darling (his voice is slightly slurred, and the references sounds like something from 2007-2008, some people claim it's from 2009)
Be Careful What You Wish For (no slurred voice, but people still claim it's from 2006-2008)
Emulate (no slurred voice, but people still claim it's from 2007-2008)
Get Money (slight slur, but sounds same as MD, which people claim is from 2009)
The Apple (barely a slur, sounds like Encore-2006)

Again, I'm pretty sure Wee Wee was made during the Relapse sessions. Get Money though was around 2006/2007. Pretty sure of it, you can hear it.

Then again, Get Money has the voice of My Darling, which people insist was recorded in 2009. It's clear they were both recorded around 2007-2008.

I've never been under the impression that Emulate was from 2007-2008 but I could be wrong :zipped:

I've heard quite a few people say Emulate is from that era. Wee Wee is hard to tell, it sounds like no era. It might be from 2008, because it has references to Superbad, which Em watched a lot in 2007-2008, and Zach and Miri Make a Porno was released in October 2008. It could work. However, I believe it was the first song he recorded after rehab, and his voice is deeper than usual. If it is from his drugged out era, it has to be from October 26th, to December 23rd. That's very unlikely, so I'm 99% sure it's from January or February of 2009.

Wee Wee = Very very late-2008, or very very early-2009.

I always thought Emulate was somewhere between 2004 and 2006. And My Darling and Careful What You Wish For were definitely drugged up Em.

I still feel like Ballin' Uncontrollably is from late 08 early 09 as a fuck around track. His voice reminds me of "Detroit Basketball" on it.

Sounds to me like it was made in 2007, with his line about 'Eight years later I'm still at it'. 1999-2007= 8 years.

Some people say that it was meant to sound like it was recorded in that era, because the beat, compared to Beautiful, is much cleaner and more new-sounding. The only explanation is that Eminem was trying to make a song from the perspective of his drugged up self. Compare his clean voice on BCWYWF to his voice on G.O.A.T, a song that was supposedly recorded the same year.

It sounds like Touchdown, which was recorded in 2007.

I think it could've been recorded in 2008, before his overdose.

Also, I added "The Apple" to this, because it sounds nothing like any 2007-2008 track.

I honestly think The Apple was recorded around the same time as Re-Up. Eminem on "We're Back" has that same raspy voice as "The Apple".

that's probably about right but i think that emulate is from late 2005 just like the apple ..

i think he recorded wee wee just after his overdose in january 2008 .. i feel like it was a warm up track to get into the rapping again like for an example give me the ball.
