Best Artist Em has ever signed to Shady records?

Postby BlueberryWun » May 6th, '13, 22:05

Criteria for best being everything such as catalouge of albums, song writting abilty and lyrics, quality of singles, impact. In a nut shell which has made the best music and shown their talent through quality of music released best as of yet.

If I could, I'd quote every post AbramIsaac and EminemBase wrote about Yelawolf and post it here.

Gotta go with 50 not much to be said on why really his work speaks for it self be it albums or mixtapes or singles, impact speaks for it self as far as sales, tours. And he been around for over a decade now so defo 50 as far as music released and bein a legend.

Wow you're dumb as shit if you even consider cashis or stat quo to be even the slightest bit better than Yela.

I wouldn't say he fell of he stopped selling like he used to but his mixtape he released last year was epic. When it comes to flow, delivery, hooks, street style quality lyrics, rap with aggression, choice of production, ridin beats etc 50 is always top notch to this day.

Yeah you can't re write history all these Yela fans on here can talk about they think this or that but you can never re write history what 50 did from 2003-2008 was outta this world as far as impact, classic material. He left a legacy. IF Yelawolf makes impact sells records, makes a classic praise can be given then but i can't ever see him coming anywhere close to what 50 did.

Again... I love Yela but he can't go near to what 50's done for hip-hop or let alone Shady. I'd give it up to Yela over 50 in some departments but that's definitely not enough. 50's legacy is enormous indeed... & the way he took over NY way before Em signed him. :worship:

My main issue with Yela is his voice and the fact he tries to sing but can't at all. Don't get me wrong i'm not gonna say 50 is some amazing singer when he does hooks but he makes them sound good where as Yelawolf can't sing nor harmnize at all. I also don't like that flow i kno he sticking to his southern roots the way he flows but i just can't get into it.

I honestly don't mind Yela's voice at all but 50's hooks are fucking awesome. I've heard great ones from Yela too but 50's been doing classic hooks for like 10 years now.
