Oh wow. Mancini is pretty much a certainty to be sacked now. Reminds me of Ancelotti's second season. Rich owners, eh?

Would give him another year personally.

But you can almost see their perspective: nowhere near the title, nowhere near the Champions League, nowhere near the League Cup, embarrassing defeat in the FA Cup to a relegated side....

It just sets a precedent that you can't have a trophyless year as Manchester City manager. And we know where that has left Chelsea...

Barca won the league with style... if it wasn't for that slump they would have broken the records they were chasing too.

Roma might win in Milano... Muntari just got red carded so Milan will have to play the whole second half with one man less. Forza grande capitano!

Can't believe we're getting rid of Mancini.

Disgusting.

I need a break from City, we're a fucking horrendous club by the looks of it.

Nah man look... I know Mancini from way before he went to City.
City really gotta get rid of the guy. He always lacks something... Mourinho proved it right after he came to Inter & turned his ballerina roster into a tank.
This year is a total failure for City & on top of it he was arrogant all the way... if you think about it he lost the title last year too & then United lost it back so if you add the CL affair from last year that would've been a total failure too..
He's just not good enough for the investments they make.
They need a lot more than he offers... I assume they need constant & serious presence in the CL final stages & he's not the man for that for sure.

On another note... he was a great football player though! :worship:

Our clubs are pretty similar it seems. Owners with endless pockets, but limited patience. It's understandable, but it's not the way forward.

Although Mancini shouldn't really be sacked, Pellegrini is a solid manager. If we get Jose back, we both should be in for much better seasons next year.

@Francesco

I get what you mean, but Mancini is right in saying that the club didn't really pursue good enough players in the summer. FFP is an important factor to consider, but surely for the amount they've spent overall for Sinclair and Rodwell, they could have got a solid player.
