At least with his prior terrible songs, Eminem is aware of how bad they were (or I thought he was until he mentioned a few Encore songs he went back and listened to in order to figure out how to sound more like the "old him" for Recovery) and mentions in interviews how the pills destroyed his ability to write and rap.
With this piece of garbage, the corniness won't wash off. Not only did he deliver some of the most hilariously cringe-worthy punchlines in history ("I swear to treat this roof like my daughters and 'raise it'" was so bad, it made the Marlo/Shuffle-T "Bad Bars Battle" Amadeo linked to and the crowd thought it was hilarious), but he made himself sound like a complete moron.

Don't you mean subconsciously, Eminem? Yeah, I think you do. The thing is, Eminem has used both "subliminally" and "subconsciously" correctly a number of times...but when you're distracted by trying too hard, it's easy to misuse a word.

This song and video are so cheesy it sounds like the kind of thing MMLP-Eminem would've put out as a joke. But he wasn't joking...he played it completely straight. This is the song where you realize Eminem really doesn't remember who he was. The times he sounds like the old him are just when he's trying to replicate what he hears when he listens to his old songs. It's sad, but there's a giant hole in his long term memory.
It's just too bad his fans are such morons they steered him on the wrong path. An intelligent fan base would've revolved against Not Afraid...but then an intelligent fan base never would've whined about Relapse and caused him to make Not Afraid in the first place. These worthless idiots bashed Relapse but defended Encore. There is no agony they can afflicted with that would be enough.
