Well, I really do think he's been drinking too much lately.

He's been drinking steadily shortly after Radioactive dropped, and probably before, but it's showing more now. He's slurring his words more, and he does seem to have trouble in interviews expressing himself sometimes. Not that he ever was the most eloquent guy, as he is more of an artist than a talker, but it seems like he might be overdoing it some. I think he slowed down some after his spleen injury, but I'm not sure if he kept to that.

Of course, it could be a mix of that and the Xanax. I don't know how often he actually eats them, but it would fit. Then again, maybe he's nervous about doing interviews, so he over-indulges when he knows he has to talk on camera. There are too many variables to take into consideration when you're trying to figure out what's going on with an artist as private as Yelawolf. I don't think he's having a breakdown or anything, but he does seem to be staying pretty buzzed, just judging off of his interviews.

His music isn't suffering though, so that's good I guess. He can't be completely out of it all of the time if things are improving, rather than falling apart. Especially when you're talking about sedatives, the artistic inspirational value is pretty limited with those. I think he'll be alright...or he won't, and we'll all spend the next 10 years talking about the artistic flame that went out just as it was starting to burn the hottest.

All on point... hopefully he can hang on & last been on top of it considering that lifestyle isn't easy at all & losing it at some point is possible so like you said it definitely is like... either he will be alright or he won't!

But, I haven't listened to TMR yet, am about to. Hope it's as good as you all say...

Nas said something like "if some artists fell off, it's because they are still trying to talk about something they left a long time ago"
I think he is right, when you're an artist, you can talk about your past but don't do it in every album, people want to relate to your music. Yelawolf has evolved as an artist and he is right to talk about his fame and his label issues in his music because his life is now different

But as soon as you realise this project is more Willpower and Yealwolf than Yelawolf, produced by Willpower you suddenly love that song. When that chorus melody hits, I just go crazy doing all kinds of sounds with my mouth, jamming along.
Favorite songs for me is
Catfish billy
Tennesse love
Firestarter
Way out

Nah I actually didn't think that with BC4, I liked it, it stood out.
Ima listen again to TMR right through again now, as I stuff my face with Domino's.

Box Chevy 4 is nice... it stood out for me too from the very first listen. If anything it is what it is on purpose.

Said this on day one. BC4 is my fave

I think he'll be fine and I love his new shit, but I think what bothered me is that he didn't perform Tennessee Love in that video I showed you, he kinda half assed it. Which isn't like him, he probably is just drinking way too much haha

Eminem to the rescue. Wasn't he the one who influenced Slaughterhouse to be sober?

Yela was only influenced by Em's music though, not the sobering thing... at least so far. lol Anyway he has a lot to offer so I really think he's gonna stay on top of all that.

I think he always had content listening to his early material he always had something to say. But it's his execution, poor hooks and flow that stopped me liking his music. I don't think his voice does him any favors either.
