From a footballing perspective, 2nd and a Cup Final is good for a team new to this whole ' being a good team ' thing. And blues don't forget where we've come from.
We've finished miles ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal with absolute ease, playing fairly poorly all season. We shouldn't take that for granted. We've now gone 3 steps back.
Jose or Pellegrino?
Got to be Jose.

If City grab Jose I'll be distraught. It looks like it's going to be Pellegrini though, regardless of his recent comments.

I am not sure if Pellegrini is the best choice for Premiership but they definitely will look better in CL with him. It will tough for the rest teams if they snatch Jose though... that would really make difference.

On another note Arsenal & Tottenham are gonna fight to the end... Wigan are outta here too.

Yeah Benfica are still in the hunt for a treble even though they lost at Porto last weekend. Chelsea gotta be on their A+ game if they wanna win it.

Get in!!!! So chuffed, history has been made. Doesn't come anywhere near to the CL trophy last year, but it's certainly a respectable competition to win!

They had no finish and only ONE good shot late in the second. Chelsea had way better chances and deserved today.

They were terrible inside the box but they played better football.

Anytime... I have a few friends of mine who are Chelsea fanatics & we watched the game together in my bar. It was awkward most of the time 'cuz they were screaming like idiots & were scaring the other people while Chelsea weren't even doing good up until Tores' changed it. It went ridiculous when they popped a champagne bottle when Lamps received the trophy. lol

I know it's not like something great Inno, but Chelsea at least kinda cleaned up ya know... saved the season a little bit. Plus a trophy is a trophy & it leads to another European Supercup game too.

Hah, exactly what one of my friend told me like 10 minutes ago. CL winners winning EL the year after, its not exactly a step in the right direction. But hey, atleast its a major trophy.

Yeah a trophy is a trophy. It's certainly better to end the season with one. Not to mention the it now completes the European trophy collection for us.
