Going by your Post, being materialistically content translates into success. But different people have varying idea about being successful. I don't boast at all in real life, that's rude and immature. The internet doesn't matter, I can be completely honest and not to be mean but I don't care what any of you think. It's basically just me writing to myself with anonymous input from others. I'm not boosting my self esteem, I'm just honest with myself. There are plenty of things about me I'm not satisfied with.

Then why feel the need to compare your capital and living situation to that of your cousin, and conclude that they are a failure due to this?

I find it incredibly judgmental without even considering the factors.

I send it isn't about money, but about being a productive member of society. I mentioned that I give back and give a difference. My cousin is a shithead criminal who had every opportunity handed to him on a silver platter, I have more than enough knowledge on his "factors" to conclude that he sucks.

I suppose anyone that is succeeding at what they're doing, by definition, is successful. It depends on how you define it. When it comes to being a professional, it's definitely defined by the amount of money you're making. So to be a successful professional at anything, the money is a factor. Otherwise, success is all about what you're wanting to achieve.

If your goal is to contribute to society, then do it. If your goal is to seclude yourself from society as much as possible, again, do it. Succeed in what you do, and if you fail, then figure out how not to the next time.
