If Obie's Trice career has been wack what does that make Yelawolfs career since Obie has achieved something Yelawolf has not. A platinum plaque and a very well critically acclaimed album alot feel is a classic. You think Yelawolf will ever go platinum like Obie? i don't think he ever will. I'm not saying Cheers isn't classic, however I'm pretty sure Secound Round's On Me got mixed/bad reviews.

That's what you think. It's your opinion. There are a lot of great rappers who weren't able to sell platinum because they don't appeal to a certain audience. Obie Trice was lucky he had Em and Dre's support.

I'm telling you he sold albums because of the features, guests and the time it was released. When Eminem was everywhere, he was bound to sell knowing how much Em was involved in the making of the album.

Now just like you said, it's subjective. So there's really no point in discussing this, because we both have different tastes and that's it man.

Platinum Plaque for an album that came out 10 years ago. Not only that, but at that time, sales honestly weren't as difficult as today. Don't get me wrong, Cheers>>>>>Radioactive. But Yela on a fucking MIXTAPE rips apart ANYTHING Obie has come out with.

No, I am not into that "spiritual miracle (I don't know what the fuck you were trying to say here)" rap. Rhyming for the sake of rhyming is rather stupid. Entertaining sometimes, but it annoys me. Crooked and Tech both do it sometimes and it is annoying as fuck. Rhyming is not everything. It is important, but being able to paint a picture, tell a story, incorporate metaphors, similes, and punchlines that work with the verse are all factors. Ever read "How to Rap"? Notice how "Content" is one section. Not the entire fucking book.

Rapping about "hustling" is outdated and primitive. This is not the fucking 90s anymore. We have moved far past that. Stop living in the past.
