Encore isn't bad. Probably after 3 masterpieces, yeah it would seem horrible but it's overhated in my opinion. Encore > Recovery

Disagree with some of your choices of the good songs Encore had to offer, the only mentionable ones for me would be Yellow Brick Road, Like Toy Soliders, Mockingbird and Curtains Down. If you're counting the bonus tracks then definitely We As Americans and Love You More as well.

Encore woulda been a good album if the leaks were actually on the album. (like Love You More, Ricky Ticky Toc, and We As Americans) If it replaced Big Weenie, My First Single, and maybe another shitty track. This album would have been good... But no it would not have been a classic if another artist released it, not with its released tracklist.

You know what's funny tho? through out his career Eminem has never said a bad word about Dr Dre always praised him. But i remember there was an interview where Eminem said it was due to Dr Dre's influence and decision to put songs like Big Weenie , Rain Man, Puke etc on Encore.

^ yeah but I think that had more to do with the fact the songs leaked than anything. Dre's mindset was probably, these songs already leaked, you have these other songs you just made, let's replace them so the fans get something new. I've never read the interview so I'm just making an assumption.

From what i recall from the interview which was from like 2005 it had nothing with any songs leaking. Em kinda said in the interview Dre wanted him to put these songs on there to please people who like the slim shady style. It seemed from what Em was saying Just Lose it was the only song like that Em wanted to put on there.

No, it's the opposite. It'd be viewed as 0-2 out of 10 if someone else made it.

The fact it's Eminem is the reason some people give it scores in the 4-7 range.

People give it 5/10 or 7/10 because as many people have said it had classic songs like Mockingbird, Toy Soldiers, Mosh, Spend Some Time, Yellow Brick Road etc
