Kid Cudi is style was more similar to Em as far as the way they both sing/harmonize, the way they adresss personal topics, both are engaging in a way of getting their music across that say a Talib Kweli, KRS 1, Common etc are not not cus of lack of talent. But maybe cus both Cudi and Em can bring something to capture people with hooks.

But those B.o.B songs I mentioned aren't 'me,me,me'... they make personal references but they're abstract, as are many of Cudi's songs.

Also, I don't hate introspective content, just think that Eminem has done it to death and that it's the least creative route ESPECIALLY given what he's capable of conceptually. It's a waste of his talents to just tell us in literal form what he went through, he can do that with his eyes closed, it's just a simple documentation of how he felt and what happened... wow... lol.

Where as "Stan" or "Bonnie and Clyde"... they're ingenious concepts, brilliantly executed. He's capable of so much more than just "this is what a bad day I've had", it's tedious now.
