Top 5 albums per year

Postby CrashBand » May 27th, '13, 13:21

As there are a lot of misconceptions around the interwebz that 2000's hip-hop sucked, my last thread made me want to get a more refined feel of what is the best year in hip-hop..

We'll go every year from 2000 to 2012. And then the albums from 2013 you like so far.

Go.

If you can... :shifty:

Block introduced him to the forum. He is as underground as you'll get.

Drawn With an Eraser, Keep The Change and Here EP are all great.

You can download his whole discography from purevolume.

My favourites would probably be:
Brooklyn Heartbreak
Upon The Surface (ft. Sadistik)
Maple Leaves
Hope Island
Alright
A Girl Named Crown
Backpacker
Pillow
Finally Awake
Hey Friend
Keep The change

Spoonfull is amazing. I suggest you watch his music video for Pillow immediately.

CrashBand, do you have a last.fm? If so, post it so I can add you. If not, oh well. You just seem like the type of person who would have one.

Nah I don't unfortunately. Even though it seems I've got that "collectors gene".

I might start, but, it seems so daunting starting from scratch.
