Eminem rhymes that people might not have noticed three-post

Well they're often right. "Rhyming" has a much broader meaning nowadays.

"time" and "night" don't technically rhyme--but are actually "near-rhymes"--if you will.

But with that aside, do you really think people would have trouble grasping the difference between "rhyming great/timing late" and "rhyming great/simple mate". If you asked which set rhymes better.

I think it's weird for people who aren't accustom to rap music. I've tried showing people what a multi is and they will just be like, "That doesn't rhyme though..".

I wanted to post something like the following in the "Mackelmore is getting compared to em" thread. People were arguing who was more popular, and I just don't care about that argument at all.

Frankly, I hate when a lot of people are bumping em. Three of my best friends' favorite musician is Em, and when I tried to sit down and talk to them about the complexity of his writing, it went write over their heads. "That doesn't rhyme, uh isn't a syllable, etc" I was so incredibly frustrated. I understand liking him for his content, flow, etc, but I just feel like people are completely missing out. I feel like the general public is even worse than my friends. They like an album like recovery b/c the choruses are catchy or b/c lil wayne was on the album. I like threads like this b/c I know other people are looking for the same things I'm looking for in his writing.

didn't notice this matches up with the "do for their Navy" rhyme scheme minus the last syllable--it's only 4.
