Yelawolf - Love Story (Q1 2015)

Love Story is done, for the most part. I'm not too worried about pressure to compromise at this point. I don't know if anyone else has checked SupaHotBeats' Facebook page, but it's full of pictures of fiddle players and acoustic guitar sessions. Not that these are sure-fire signs of artistic integrity (after all, you can make anything a watered down piece of shit) but it's a good sign that he and WillPower have been shaping this vision in a very organic way.

Glad Willpower is keeping us updated with info and pics, its building a lot of hype for me.

I agree, giving us a sneak into what they're doing almost lets us know what type of energy they have behind the project. He's got pictures of DJ's, Fiddlers, Guitar players, and live drums. Yelawolf has his shaggy look going on, and everyone seems very dedicated to what's being done. I can only imagine what it's been like recording the album, and what it sounds like.

It seems very organic. If Yelawolf is to release his *classic* album, then this could be it. Every great artist has at least one great album, and Love Story may turn out to be that album. He seems to be in his zone, and if Trunk Muzik Returns is any indication of the type of originality they're pumping out down there, then Love Story is looking very promising.

Yelawolf is about to give us his classic.

What they show us in the pictures (live guitars, cellos, Chevy sounds), this album seem sprinkled with originality and creativity. Its almost impossible for it NOT to be a classic.
Yelawolf has stated several times that the standard he's reaching for in this album is "the classic". And he sure as hell seems to be going the extra mile to achieve it.

What I'm a little worried for is... will the public pick up on what this man is doing? I mean, it has seems to have all the makings of a classic, but will this have the impact to be one to the hip hop community? I hope he has at least the same thing that happened to Kendrick happens to him.

When Kendrick signed, people weren't even sure if he would drop, and when he did, people picked up on how amazing the album was, and word of mouth about the album greatness helped its sales significantly. Now the album is considered a young classic. I hope the same happens with Love Story.
A little help with promotion from Interscope wouldn't hurt either.

Also, I've noticed something... We haven't really had any other artists (except for Travis Barker, but thats only drums) confirmed for this project yet... Does this mean that Yela is making this a complete solo project?
