Fair enough... the album is still not done as we speak actually. They most likely still look for a single that would last & that's not gonna be easy after LTWYL raised the bar that high.

I think maybe they thought the album would be finished at this point ----> Hence the tour dates.
But for some reason it's taking more time, not a bad thing if it's to have a better album. But now those tour dates in the middle have not much sense. He will stop working on the album to go on tour and he will tour Recovery 3 years after...

Like I've said many times... They won't push for a release only 'cuz of a few shows in Europeif if the album is not done & they're not happy with the singles or whatever. It is what it is.

He booked the shows as a totally separate entity to any album. He did the same last summer and the year before.

True. I said it in March... if it was about a full American tour I'd agree they had to deal with the album & the tour together but in this case it doesn't mean anything at all. Considering the situation it is more than possible to do those shows with or without a new album & it would only depend on if the album is done or not... & it isn't just yet.

I think Recovery will be heavily on 'cuz it's still relevant & on the charts but other songs will be in rotation as well so it won't be like the typical Recovery set. The thing is they could go on a wave of one new single too if they have it by then but at this point it's getting shaky already.

Plus like I've said before he'd only travel overseas in the summer when his kids are off school so basically like you said those few shows will kinda keep his relevancy warm & will earn him a lotta money... it's is definitely nothing like a pre album tour or whatever of this kind.
