Porter doubts that Em's album will be out before his shows

There's absolutely no reason he would perform 3 year old song's at a new concert when he has new music coming out.

What was Porter supposed to say? "Look for it within 2 week's"?? Anything he said besides what he did say would have basically be giving away the release date.

All this "maybe after August" or "he isn't quite done yet" is all bullshit. Of course it's done, there is no reason it shouldn't be, NONE.

The actual album may not release till after the concert, though I still think we might get it before then, but if it's not released by then, I bet he will debut the whole album on his tour. We will most likely get a single before they start though.

Making a hook and a bridge around some verses shouldn't be a problem with an artist like him. He probably scrapped the album and started all over again.

For me he's still searching for the singles, that's why it's been taking so long.

Hopefully that is all he is doing...

Most likely but this is nothing minor to be honest... it's always easier to finish an album if you have the right singles rather than to find the right singles if you only have tons of non single records.

Nah that won't happen but it's still kinda possible for a new single before the shows. Again... this is not a an American tour so the few shows & the album could easily go as two different types of business that don't depend on each other.
