It would honestly be bullshit if he only did some Recovery shows.

The thing is, why would he perform Recovery songs if his album comes out 2 months later?! That wouldn't make any sense. And yes he did some concerts last year and performed Recovery song, but it wasn't the same thing because at that time we didn't know an album would come out in 2013 and, according to a lot of articles i've seen on websites "this summer".
So many people (including me and people on this forum) bought tickets to see him also because we are excited to see him perform new material. I mean i would still be glad to see him on stage tho, but it would be so fristrating if his album comes out after his shows. This just sounds retarded to release your album after the shows.

I just hope Porter doesnt know what he's talking ablut and just guessing like an ass, that would be way better

Tickets are sold out, right? So it won't matter what he performs. He'd criticized by fans and media alike though. I don't think that's what he'd aiming at. This long silence is just annoying and questionable on his work ethics.

It most likely wont' be all & only Recovery set but both of you are right... he'll probably stick to Recovery's popular stand outs plus some of his older hits & esp. ones that still move numbers. He'll most likely pass on some of the songs we like... the ones that are kinda known as not that popular commercially.
Looking at his up do date sales makes it clear he could easily only go there to support Recovery plus a few of his biggest singles without bothering about his new album at all.

That's possible but the thing is singles is most likely exactly what they're missing at this point... it totally makes sense if he went there on the wave of a new single but if they don't have it to that point... it'd be just that.

Of course he knows more but he probably doesn't know much about promotion plans and release date.

He definitely knows exactly what's going on & this was juts the mild way for them to put that out. Plus it's 7th of June already & nothing happens... Eminem's albums don't just pop up outta nowhere.
They are not ready... it's more than obvious now & those shows & the album are two totally different business ventures that barely have anything to do to to one another.
