Do you think that it would have had the same impact that it did?

Rihanna was already a huge name and Skylar was virtually unknown at the time, so I think the answer is no, but you never know. Skylar was still pretty unkown when I Need a Doctor came out and look at how big of a hit that was.

Even if not I still think it would have been a better song because Skylar sang it a lot better tbh

Not only would it have been better but even if it recieved a quarter of the impact that the original had it would have done miracles for Skylar's career. Add INAD a year later and Coming Home later and I'm pretty sure she would be a big name right now.

Skylar is a better singer but Rihanna was perfect for this song. Especially knowing how she got her ass beaten up few months before that.

Like it or not, Rihanna helped a lot to increase the sales, the song became a big hit. Eminem himself thanked her many times for helping with the sales.

I have to say I'm a bit tired of both now, Rihanna, and Skylar. Too much collaborations already.

Rihanna is bigger. Skylar has more talent I think. But, Rihanna has so much more charisma.
Skylar can write a hook or two and maybe sing them, but that would be enough.
Dina Rae and Liz Rodriguez are better than Skylar, in my opinion.
