They're alike in that they both employ the, "look at how loud/psychotic I look/sound right now as I'm pretending to melt down over something" tactic for the purpose of "humor."

This guy is annoying as shit and gets most of his 'facts' from what seems to be the back of a Captain Crunch box...

Plus, he sort of resembles a bum. A bum with a slight lisp wearing hipster glasses... That's legit.

Giant cosign, I don't outright hate him but I am turned off by a lot of what he says and can't help but think that he gives off the vibe that appeals to other neckbeards like himself who value garbage alternative politics. I really hate atheists like him (I know I said I don't hate him) just as much as I hate evangelical fundamental Christians who have to turn every religious discussion into warfare than the normal subject it should be treated as, it just really appeals to every rebellious 15 year old twat who have fundie parents.

As far as his whole feminism stance is concerned I watched his "It's only sexist when men do it" video, and while he has decent points it's hard to take the man seriously when he uses extremist examples that even other feminists would cringe at, it's getting mad at dumb people dumb. His ideas aren't wrong per say but he expresses in a way that really only appeals to middle schoolers who think the core of feminism is "It's only sexist when men do it!" or think kitchen jokes are hilarious.
