Whats your city like?

jus tryn to kno everybody a lil better...wats it like where u live?
where i live, they r building nonstop..i m in tha 9th fastest growing city in tha U.S. A lot of traffic...houses are real expensive but if you go like a mile off of a main road u can find your self in tha country. its kind of funny. i live in a historic city so we have a lot of tourists, n near a marine base so we have a ton of military people here. There r also like a million copz. careful wat u do in tha open! lol...

couple of barns, some houses with thatched roof and big farmlands everywhere u turn..


there's lot of cars and people everywhere.. :? always in the morning (about 9 am) and noon (5 pm) there are traffic jams, especially on bridges, so you're pissed off. now it's not so dirty, but you cannot go to the park and step the lawn, because there's lot of dogs' shits everywhere. there are some parks, where you aren't allowed to go with ur dog ttg..
there are lot of tourists, especially from Japan with cameras my fave building in Warsaw is socialist Culture Palast - it stays in our city since 50 years 8)

Amsterdam is quite tidy, lots of tourism, legal drugs, legal prostitution.
Very good atmosphere. But a lil out of the center there are some bad quarters. But there is no real povirty in Holland.
The city is quite old and very beatiful. Many people on bikes.
And NO1 WALK ON WOODEN SCHOES! thats a stupid myth...

My city (Edinburgh) is the capital of Scotland. Its pretty big. Theres lots of flats in the city centre. We still have some very old town houses and cobbled streets. We have lots of parliament buildings and royal palaces. Theres also the huge castle right in the centre of town. Heres a pic of it.

There is lots of hills and woods. There is also a large port where the navy often visit. Its a really cool city. If you ever come to Scotland you gotta visit. There people are really friendly too.

i think it's pretty stupid myth too i'd like to go to Holland.
