No that's ridiculous, just because he said June 8th doesn't mean that's when it was recorded. He said it because it was relevant to his rhyme scheme and Tony Touch has had the song for quite a while.

His "Richard" verse is awesome as hell, and that tone / voice works really well for him and actually sounds fresh now since he hasn't used a more natural tone like that for a while...

I think a deeper and more natural tone with fresh music and amazing technical aspects would work well for this album; as he pretty much went as nasal and crisp as you can go with Relapse and pretty much went as rough, angry and loud as you can go with Recovery... so I think this one should be a happy medium to sound fresher - that "Richard" style reminds me of his BET Cypher style - it's kind of smooth, with hard hitting lines, nice wit and a tongue-twisted trickyness to it.
