writers block and odd rhyme scheme/flow

so yea im working on my new piece sober as a gopher

and i started writing and it still has a hidden message but less pizazz

the lines are short and 13 line verses

chorus is ok by my standards lol

my question is whats a good way to get inspiration and work with very short bars
any suggestions are appreciated short bars are strange

When I write, I tend to write about things I see around me. Like throw a reference in. A Hulk commercial was on TV and I used a Hulk line lol. It's actually good to do what Mac Miller did, write to movies and shit with the sound off.
