As for Walt I always felt his development and detoriation into Heisenberg happened way too quick, him confronting Tuco was still to early and he should developed more before just jumping into his hideout and threatening a drug lord like that. The S2 was just beyond contrived and a bombastic way of saying that Walt's actions have consequences. It was cool and all but not really logical, it was one of the biggest asspulls in TV history.

Yeah, as it went on it gradually became less realistic (it was hard to take the android-esque cousins seriously). You look back at that time in the RV in the desrt

However, the acting has improved over the seasons--the acting for Hank, Jesse and Gus are right up there with Walt by the end of it. Bryan Cranston the GOAT though.
