This was an amazing show. My second time seeing Em live and I was lucky to get to the front again.
Chance The Rapper - was alright, nobody really reacted to him because everyone was bored due to the fact that he was late on stage by about 30-45 minutes but he was very energetic in his performance.
Slaughterhouse - was FUCKING DOPE! Loved seeing them perform. And I loved their song choices. They seemed to love they crowd back as we were standing in the pissing rain wearing t-shirts etc and Joe Budden got us all chanting, "FUCK DAT RAIN." Very enjoyable and would love to see them again.
Yelawolf - was better than I expected. I love listening to him but didn't know what he was like live. He was amazing live. He really knew how to get the crowd going nuts. He came close to us and had us all jumping around. You could tell by the look on his face that he was surprised that he got such an amazing reaction, all the way through his set. Hope he comes back in the future. Great set.
Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler The Creator - I don't listen to these guys and I'm not a fan of them or the rest of the Odd Future crew but they did kind of put on a good show and as SG said, the bass was mental. Tyler was pretty funny in between songs doing silly shit with the cameras and looking in the crowd for black people.
Plan B - Don't listen to him either. Not a fan of him. The thing about his performance is that he was really good but he wasn't really getting a reaction from the crowd of over 80,000 people. Everyone just wanted Eminem to come on. As Plan B was getting restless of the crowd he kept trying to take it and get us amped up and you could tell he was getting pissed off. He ended up breaking stuff and throwing stuff around. And when his set was over he didn't say anything, he just walked off.
Then Eminem - as always was the reason we were there and he provided. Was great to hear Survival live. His song choices was great and his voice when he performed White America and Mosh, sounded amazing and it wasn't playback. I'll get to playback in a minute. When he performed My Name Is, he changed his voice and rapped the verse slightly higher pitched. It was pretty awesome. He used playback and quite a few, but not all, songs. The one where the playback was too high was Just Don't Give A Fuck, was too loud but I could still kind of hear him actually rapping it. But other than that it was a great show and I can't wait until the next time.
We're gonna rock this house until we knock it down
So turn the volume loud, cause it's mayhem 'til the a.m.
So baby make just like K-Fed and let yourself go, let yourself go
Say fuck it before we kick the bucket
Life's too short to not go for broke
Go Berzerk!
