Rick Rubin

Postby momentsgolden » Aug 26th, '13, 09:56

First off, rick rubin is the mutherfuckin executive producer!!!! :worship: :worship: :worship:

now that i got my breath back, where to start? I remember in the Yeezus interview he said "i got an album coming out in November and it is further along than this" and this is BEFORE he even started working on Yeezus. What this means is that they have been working on this for a LONG time.

Second, i just started reading alot of literature about his creative process. This is the clearest sign yet that Eminem handled the majority of production. The guy don't know how to work instruments! Lol. And, that is an awesome thing.

One of his greatest works? Adele's 21. Does this mean Eminem listened to it and loved it? Is he trying to compete? How could it have inspired him? Which elements would Rick have brought from that album to this new one?

Awww man, there is just so much to go into. To research, to speculate, to discuss. Go

He reinvented Johnny Cash. Pray he works that same magic on Eminem.

I really don't know much about this guy other than that he is heavily involved in monster-hits.
TrShady is just great. A place where pompousus blowhards can connect with other pompousus blowhards, and form a vast circle jerk of pomposity.

I think Rick Rubin might have made Em listen trough his old material (MMLP) before starting work on the new album, like he did with Black Sabbath

He's worked with RHCP, Metallica, SOAD, Slipknot and LP, few of my favorite bands of all time.

I would bet on the album being rock influenced.
