I always wondered how Recovery would have sold first week if LTWYL was released before the album. Probably a million, easily. They should have done that.

As for MMLP2, at least 800k. A million doesn't seem likely right now, but if he releases another single beforehand and has amazing promotion I think he could do it.

And yeah, this record will definitely increase MMLP's sales.

It will do more than Recovery did in the first week. If it's promoted well and they make the most of the fact that he can promote via facebook to 75 million people then possibly a million.

So.. Let's see how things worked out.

1) COD released the trailer with Survival on it, then they released the song for free.
2) Eminem performs in Europe.
3) Eminem announces MMLP2, drop two snippets of Berzerk at the VMA's
4) They release Berzerk on iTunes, charts at number three.
5) They have a deal with ESPN, they'll play Berzerk a lot and shit. Might benefit him a lot.
6) They're dropping a sneak peak of the video during a highly anticipated game, then like within the week they'll release the whole video. (according to KiddFuture)

Now.. If we get a BET cypher, AND a "big" second single before the album release date, he'll push the million EASILY.

Just look at it like this. Eminem had 4 millions fans before Recovery dropped. He has now 75 000 000 and he's the most popular human being on facebook lol.
Recovery's success was mostly due to its longevity, not to its first week sales. I'm not saying it will 100% break the million, but there are great chances it will.

Seems like the marketing plan for this album is a lot bigger and greater than for Recovery.
