a 6, Eminem named his album MMLP, I was expecting something along the lines of DeJa Vu ... in my opinion Eminem has only released only one truly "great" song, which is DeJa Vu, the other's have been good or decent.

I liked the hook and the beat like many of you did, but for him to actually have the balls to name his album "MMLP" and release a song like "Bezerk" is absurd, I hope this is the only skippable song on the album.

Love everything he....puts out? Seriously? Well, firstly, fuck Encore. Let's get that out of the way. I also dislike(if not hate) over half the tracks on Recovery, as well as some of his recent features (Throw It Up, where he got bodied by his own protege, and Numb, where he growled something about dry walls). So, nah, I don't like everything he puts out. While I agree with you on the fact that he should definitely have some introspective shit like Deja Vu on MMLP2, do you honestly expect that shit to be the LEAD SINGLE? Let's recount, shall we?

Out of those lead singles, the only serious one was Not Afraid, which was shit. Otherwise it's always been a poppish "fun" lead single. And I like to think this one is quite good.

Stay Wide Awake ain't even a 9, bro. 8.5 at best. It's a great song, but it's not mind-blowing.

I'll bite.
I actually re-listened to the song today after seeing how a lot of you guys are so passionate about it, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was before. Still no 9 or 10 imo, but it is a really good song. Again, it's just a thing of personal preference.

As for me giving the song a 10. Guys look, more songs can be a "10". Lose Yourself is, As The World Turns Is, etc. That's not to say that Berzerk is better than Stan or actually equal, but I give 10s to songs that I would change little to nothing about them because that makes them "perfect" in their own way. When everything works well together and it's done with passion, the product gets that from me. Of course, this is just a personal opinion, and all those 10s or whichever ratings are subjective rather than something universal.

5 - Hook was catchy, loved the sample. But the lyrics are still very sketchy.
