First thread bitches, I just really had to say this.
After I typed out a long, insult ridden rant yesterday about the shitty article that everybody else here somehow loved, which the internet dutifully ate, I think I should also present my point of view and claim it is fact, like every other retard on the internet is wont to do
- The concept of MMLP to Eminem represents risk taking, branching off from the norm and trying unexplored territories, whether its a more personal/introspective subject matter unlike his previous effort, or trying a new sound/exec producer.
MMLP represents freedom, why can't Em dye his hair blonde, why does it have to mean label pressures or trying to get back to his glory days, are you Em, motherfucker? I know, it seems like we know everything Em goes through since he spells it out in his rhymes but, think about it, we don't know jack shit, we should stop assuming that we do. Maybe he's trying to get himself in the same creative mindspace as when he was on drugs, we dont know, so dont fucking assume.
MMLP represents taking risks and not giving a fuck, there is nothing riskier than naming your new effort after your most widely accepted classic, especially when you're widely regarded as past your prime.
