Toe jam line, the checkmate bang bang lines, or the fact he's still bringing up K Fed int he damn chorus. Not exactly cutting edge stuff there, but than we have people who just hate on Recovery and pick out the corny lines on the album, even though a lot of the album he was spittin' some good stuff.

K Fed line is a bit weird, I'll give you that. Toe jam line leads into the chorus. Most of the second verse was just him imitating rappers of today.

The checkmate bang bang line wasn't too bad, I don't care......the Toe jam line is every bit as bad as some of the corny stuff on Recovery. K Fed line was POINTLESS, he's not even relevant anymore. He shold have just kept this line in each chorus sang. In one of them he says baby make just like k fed and let yourself go, fuck that. The other one he says is so crank the bass up like crazy and let yourself go, much much better. Simple and to the point.

You sound like one of those pop critics with the "relevant" comments. WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK IF WHO EMINEM REFERENCES IS RELEVANT? I don't listen to Em exclusively to hear him diss celebs. The toe jam line leads in fine to the whole "take your shoes off" part of the chorus, though I will admit that it was very awkwardly delivered. Other than that, it's fucking awesome.

No. But I don't listen to Eminem to hear him diss pointless celebs, if you're going to go the route of dissing celebs, at least keep it relevant like he did most of the time back in the day. The Lamar Odom and Kardashian bash was pretty good though, I like the Future diss, and I didn't mind him going all over the place in the 2nd verse with the noises making fun of other people, that was fine.

K Fed is pointless and ridiculous. The toe jam line, c'mon man. You're really going to defend that line???

Berzerk definitely lol. Only a few tracks might be better than it from Recovery.

Why should he have to? How does it change the quality of the song at all? And once again, the toe jam line isn't good in any way, shape, or form. But it leads into the chorus.

I just think there's a lot of Em stans praising Berzerk when it's really not all that. It's not terrible, but it's not anywhere near as good as his best lead singles.

Honestly, Berzerk was the first time Eminem ever exceeded my expectations since Eminem Show.

Perhaps this is because I lowered them after Encore.

I will say this. Berzerk is Eminem's best lead single since The Eminem Show.

Berzerk > Just Lose It, We Made You, and Not Afraid.

So fucking hyped for this album!!!

This, except that I think Seduction and Spacebound are better than Berzerk too.

But the rest represent my thoughts

Cold Wind Blows, On Fire, Going Through Changes, Seduction, Almost Famous, Ridaz, Session One, Untitled are all better than Berzerk. Berzerk has a good chorus, is strange for Eminem and something new, but ultimately the bars fall short.

It's better than We Made You, Just Lose It, My Band, but nowhere near as good as My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, Without Me.

Keep in mind that not all rap songs have to be lyrical to be great.

For example, My Band, was a classic, despite being not a strong technical acheivement lyrically.

Same with Berzerk.

If I'm going to get a song without much of a real message, I'd rather get a catchy song than one with a billion multis strung together.
