Encore-Relapse: 5 years, with The Re-up in 2006.

Recovery-MMLP2: 3 years, with H:TS in 2011

(just comparing)

I think it's a good time for preparation, production, recording and post-production for an album, especially because Em named it The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

I don't even need to talk about the gap between Encore and Relapse, by the way.

Recovery-MMLP2 2010-2013 (3 years)

Edit: didn't know you were talking about Relapse-MMLP2, my bad

4 years so, not 5

The point that I made after the time comparing still counts, I think.

If you're talking about Relapse then you're pretty accurate... And you're right about how it's seemed shorter... But that's cause we got Recovery and H:TS

:facepalm I used to be good at math.

You're right.

Recovery and HTS indeed made the gap seem smaller, though.

That's correct, I even counted the months from November 04 - May 09 & May 09 - November 13. 54 months exactly.

3 years is still a long wait. but i remember Encore and how people were saying 2 years was more of a wait.

i think Em was honestly more relevant back then

Maybe we're just getting older. It feels like it's been a minute, but Recovery doesn't feel all that long ago. Still feels like the same era in hip hop.
